Materials are all strictly selected. The products make the most of each raw material’s original features, and limited resources are carefully used without waste. Functional designs are kept simple and clean without being affected by trends, meant to be long lasting and to be used daily.
All of NJD products are designed and manufactured in The Hague. Most of the materials come from Italy, Spain and France.
Color collage with terra reds, pinks and nudes. The perforated nude leather is normally used as lining for orthopedic shoes. Why only use it for shoes ? It looks beautiful and feels super soft. It is not coated and will get darker when exposed and used.
The perforated nude leather is normally used as lining for orthopedic shoes. Here it’s tested as base material for a simple shopper, combined with bright yellow leather handles and bright striped band straps it looks quite fresh. Still need to test if the material is good enough as base material.
The canvas used in NJDesigns is coming from Limonta in Italy. They have a great variety of choice in finishings and colors. The once I use as base material for bags is coated to protect the cotton or linen canvas. The wax coatings give the canvas a matt look and a crunchy feel. The rubber coatings are very subtle and make the canvas really soft and flexible.
